BuddyUp is a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students build friendships, communicate with confidence, and work as a team — all while learning and growing through real-life English usage.
We’ve now developed into a mentorship-based community supported by high school volunteers from around the world and international mentors.
Our mission is simple:

At BuddyUp, we don’t just teach English — we guide students to actually use it. We believe language is a bridge, and our role is to help every child cross that bridge with confidence and creativity.

Friendship: The Power of Buddies
Every child at BuddyUp is matched with a “Buddy”—a partner who supports, listens, and learns alongside them. These friendships break language barriers and build lasting confidence. Our Buddies don’t just help with English—they help each other grow, laugh, and feel seen.
Communication: English in Everyday Life
At BuddyUp, we believe that English is more than a subject—it’s a tool for real-life connection. Through hands-on activities, games, and creative storytelling, our students learn to use English in ways that matter. Whether ordering lunch, playing charades, or building crafts, English becomes a part of their daily world—fun, natural, and empowering.
Teamwork: Grow Together, Win Together
Team challenges, group problem-solving, and creative missions are at the heart of our program. At BuddyUp, we don’t just teach—we build together. When children collaborate, they not only practice English—they develop trust, leadership, and the joy of growing as one team.
